With the relative peace, political stability, and better power situation, Ghana is striving to become the technology hub of Africa. In 2004, the country drew up its Information and Communication Technology for Accelerated Development (ICT4D) policy outlining its vision to transform into an information-rich knowledge-based society through the development, deployment and exploitation of ICTs within the economy.
